Annie has been painting and drawing as long as she can remember. She is a trained painter and is currently focusing on acrylic monotypes and digital illustration.

Her Catholic faith and vocation of wife and mother have profoundly impacted her artwork. As a convert to Catholicism the subject matter of the saints and the Blessed Virgin have captured her imagination and she strives to bring joy, wit and lively motion to her representations of them.

Pax and Pieta was created by Gabriella Montgomery, who had a conversion experience with Christ during the pandemic. After realizing the deep desire for beauty in the world, she became inspired to create Pax and Pieta. She works to provide opportunities of encounter for those who are searching for peace in a time of chaos, by presenting various forms of truth, beauty and goodness. Her business Pax and Pieta provides at-home Catholic art classes that are designed to help you grow deeper in your faith. Gabriella is also a senior majoring in Classics at the University of California-Berkeley and prays to see the face of Christ in those who she encounters each day.

Monica, Author/Creator: Ofiri and the Lost Kingdom, Life of Purpose Planner. Founder, Mater-Dolorosa.

Monica is a Mother and Emergency Room Nurse, who had a reversion to the Catholic faith after a deep encounter with Christ. Growing up in Uganda, plus working at the forefront in emergency health, she experiences first hand human suffering and because of this she is passionate about mission, purpose, metanoia, economic justice, dignity of the human person and using one’s gift for the greater glory of God.

She loves giving time in service to God and his church but more importantly, just spending time with the Lord. She enjoys the outdoors and singing with her local choral choir.

Monica published her first children’s book which is being followed by the release of a board game. Monica also created the Life of Purpose planner as a way to manage and maximize her time so as to live in a place of joy and leisure while simultaneously using her gifts centered in Christ and His mission.

The tagua nut palm tree grows in the tropical rain forest of some South American countries; mainly Ecuador, Colombia and Venezuela.

Because of its similarities in color, hardness, and texture to those of elephant ivory, the tagua nut has been used as a substitute. This lowers the demand for animal ivory and prevents the slaughter of elephants. It also helps prevent deforestation because the trees do not need to be cut down in order to harvest the nuts.

Alpaca Fiber - We work closely with the Conteron family in Otavalo-Ecuador to bring the most beautiful pieces to you. All our alpaca garments are handwoven using rustic looms. The fibers are soft, durable, luxurious, and warmer than sheep's wool. Alpaca has no lanolin, so the fibers are also hypoallergenic.
